Personality:
It would be wrong to give Plaguestar a normal Shadowclan type of temper because he so doesn't fit with a normal Shadowclan cat. Sure he can be aggressive and love the thrill of a battle from time to time, but he's not dark. He wants to care for his clan as best he can, but he does have that pride as a leader. He knows that he got to this rank by working, and working hard. He wouldn't give up his leadership for anything, and tries his best not to regret anything. But even though he's leader, deep down he's really a scared apprentice without his father. Deep down he doesn't think he should have leadership thats why he's so soft spoken, and so gentle around his clan. Though he will defend his clan and himself if need be, he just doesn't want to make the same mistakes twice. Which is why Plaguestar has closed himself off to any kind of mate or female that might like him. He only works for his clan, only to keep them safe.

History:
1-10 Moons
Well being named Plaguekit there was no way his life could be normal in anyway. His mother's name was Goosefeather and his father was Foxshadow. He had one sibling called Redkit, both were brothers. Plaguekit had no idea about the meaning of his name, but he would soon wish that he wasn't called it. Only three months after his birth his mother was killed by a Windclan warrior, which lead to a war with the two clans. His father was the current deputy and Plaguekit always feared that his father would be the next one to be killed. All he and Redkit could do was watch from the nursey as there clanmates came back bloodied and some where even dead. Their old leader Ratstar could only do so much, and when he was six months old the old leader stepped down, leaving Foxshadow as leader.

Plaguekit was both scared and happy about his father becoming leader. He was given his apprentice name and in fact was trained by his father. His brother Redpaw was Given to a warrior called Swellowcry. It was at this time that his problems started to show up. His blue eyes were a curse to him, at times in one ear he would lose his hearing and become distracted. This happened off and on during his training. His father said nothing about, and neither did any of the other cats. Well when he was ten moons old Windclan launched an attack on Shadowclan, and Plaguepaw was fighting with another apprentice. During the fight the hear in one of his ears went out, and the other apprentice manged to land a scar across his face. His father had to rush to his side to help him fight off the apprentice. Needless to say that when the battle was over his father was no happy with him. He yelled at him stating that he should be a medicine cat, not a warrior apprentice.

He thought his father was right and almost did become a medicine cat, but the medicine cat would have nothing to do with him. He said he was doomed to destroy his clan and cast him out.

10-20 Moons
Confessed by all of this he went back to training as a warrior only to find out that his father would not train him anymore. He said he was weak and that the weak had no place in the clan. He was hurt and confessed as to why. He tried to get other warriors to help him and finally one did, one by the name of Wolfsoul. This mentor was a lot different then his father, and told him that he was doing a good job. Plaguepaw started to think there might be hope for him, and that he could be a great warrior too. Well times pass and the battle with Windclan is over, but Redpaw has suddenly turned sour on his brother. He has no idea why, but his brother who was so close to him won't even speak his name.

While dealing with this he and his brother were named warriors he got the name of Plaguedragon, while his brother was called Redfrost. A few days after he was made a warrior he went to the Windclan border to see his brother Redfrost with a female warrior. He watched as the two spoke, and finally understood why his brother wasn't talking to him. His brother was in love with this Windclan warrior. In his mind he knew that this wasn't right and somehow he had to stop it. Sneaking out in the dead of night he went over to the Windclan border hoping to meet her. The warrior was called Snowmoon, and lucky for him she was out that night. He told her to stay away from his brother that no good could come from it.

She didn't listen to him, and said his body just held envy in it. He had to admit after talking to her for a long time Plaguedragon was starting to see why his brother liked her so much. So he fell into the same trap his brother did, he soon started to see Snowmoon as well. So we all know where this leads up to, on one night both his brother and him sunk out at the same time. They both ran into each other when they reached the Windclan border. Each demanding to know why the other was there, and in the end Plaguedragon spoke first. His brother was not happy about this, and attacked him. The two warriors fought, finally in the end Plaguedragon scored his claws across one of his brother's eyes blinding him in the left eye. His brother left but promised that this wouldn't be the last of it.

He got back to came where his apprentice greeted him, but he was scared to death his brother would have told his father about the she-cat. However when he got back he found a whole different story then what he thought. Foxstar's deputy Grasswhisle was dead, and his father had to pick a new deputy. He sat far away from his brother not able to look him in the eye. He was shocked and scared when his father said that he would be the next deputy. Most cats didn't say anything they knew that Foxstar wanted his kin as leader, and since Redfrost had a scar he would be of no use as a deputy.

20-26 Moons
Over time Plaguedragon stopped trying to talk to his brother, and just kept seeing Snowmoon. He was very much in love with her, and they planed to have kits together. Though Starclan was not so kind to him, a few days before Snowmoon was due to have kits she drowned in the lake. When she didn't show up at there meeting spot Plaguedragon went looking for her, only to find her head body at the lake. This time luck was not on his side, three Windclan cats found him and chased him off. Reporting back to their leader that Plaguedragon had killed Snowmoon a battle started with Shadowclan and Windclan again. Starclan was only begining to punish Plaguedragon during the war his father lost the rest of his lives, forcing Plaguedragon to become leader. He was upset with this and unsure if he should be leader, but he had to for his clan.
